The March Mindfulness Monthly Memo focuses on how to be more mindful to improve overall well-being. Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of what we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s happening around us. Mindfulness is a quality we all possess; we must learn how to access it. Practicing mindfulness can reduce stress levels, help us manage our emotions and reactions, tune in better to how we feel, and cultivate compassion for ourselves and others. This allows us to make wiser choices, feel happier and calmer, and boost our relationships. We hope you find this month’s resources and wellness events helpful in supporting your self-care journey.
